We’ve all heard of Bigfoot, and many of us probably think that, just maybe, he might actually exist. Some of us even have our own theories about what it is. Today, I’d like to share with you my theory. I think it’s a pretty good, but everyone else thinks the same thing about their theory.

Also, this theory is not just something that I dreamed up; others hold to it as well. To get an idea of what this theory is, look at the image to the left. That’s a pretty typical depiction of Bigfoot, and one that we’ve probably all seen before.

That’s right! Bigfoot is a primate, just way, way bigger than the ones we normally think of: spider monkey, gibbon, chimpanzee, gorilla….Actually, that last one is very close. In the fossil record, an animal has been discovered called Gigantopithecus. Skeletally, it’s almost exactly like a modern gorilla, just 9 feet tall.
